Not sure about the Ogilvie I was in there on Saturday afternoon also but there was two young lads playing ,no she was dressed as Angus just before the main gig wish I had popped over earlier to catch her as she got a good reception...

Hey Ann, the previous post isn't actually correct. it was actually early dd8 music that got the memorial stone made as Bon fest and the stone were one of the first projects we ever did. As for Bon being born in Kirrie, I don't think it was meant quite literal, I think it is meant that he started off his life living in Kirriemuir. Hope this helps

DD8 Music has never claimed Bon was born in Kirriemuir, we have only ever called Kirrie his "home town". We are well aware of what Bon's birth certificate says.

The mistake on the memorial stone was made before DD8 Music was involved in Bonfest.

Please check your facts before making yet another false claim for Bon Scott. If you apply to the Registrar of births, you will find that Bon was born in the Fyffe Jamieson Maternity Hospital in Forfar. Yes, his family lived in Kirrie at that time, but please get things right.

One other thing ,who was the young girl on stage playing solo ,amzing talent just caught the tail end...

Yet again what a weekend ,great work from the guys at DD8 Music ,only went on the Saturday this year but Buon Scotch were epic as always with a great playlist with all the classics ,roll on next year it just gets better and better , thanks again to all involved in making it an event to remember...it`s only Rock and Roll...but it`s ace...
