For over 20 years, DD8 Music has been at the heart of creativity in Kirriemuir, Angus, inspiring people of all ages to discover, develop and share their talents. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be creative, regardless of their background, experience or financial circumstances. That's why everything we offer is completely free.

From learning an instrument and joining a band to DJing, songwriting, music production, photography, filmmaking and creative media, we provide welcoming spaces where people can learn new skills, make friends and grow in confidence.

Each year we support hundreds of young people through weekly clubs, workshops, holiday activities, live performances and creative projects. Alongside music, we provide safe spaces to socialise, access support, enjoy healthy snacks, and connect with positive role models who encourage every individual to reach their potential.

We are also proud to organise Bonfest, Kirriemuir's internationally recognised music festival celebrating the life and legacy of Bon Scott, legendary frontman of AC/DC. Bonfest welcomes thousands of visitors from around the world each year, bringing music, culture and economic benefit to the local community while helping to fund our charitable work throughout the year.
